The exploitation of lunar resources is a reality in early 22nd-century society. The discovery of a new element on the far side of the Moon—Anamadium—has enabled the development of new communication technologies thanks to its peculiar meta-molecular properties.

The rebellion of three androids, instigators of the first humanoid strike at the Luna-4 biochip factory, forces the United Nations Security Council to isolate them on Earth in order to assess the possibility of their elimination.

The dissident leaders, aided by Doctor Nancy Kaplan, manage to escape their confinement, triggering a race against time as all of the planet’s security services join in the hunt.

[ Death-Time ] revolves around the eternal paradox of the concept of Artificial Intelligence—one that changes meaning each time we believe we have achieved it. Because, inevitably, the future always betrays us.

This is the third installment in the SkyKover Project saga, in which protagonists Brad Mertens and Marta Ginés continue their struggle from the shadows against the ongoing manipulations of the Council of Sages, based in GlassCity, the new capital of planet Earth.

 

Born through synthetic cultivation at the GenoTech Industries Inc. facility located in Kiashankou, SocioSystem Yunnan, he became aware of himself on December 28, 2119, at 6:00 GMT. After five weeks of training to become a member of the United Nations’ ReGenerative Surgery Corps, with a planned assignment at SocioSystem Cabo Verde, he fled the facility with the intention to devote himself to designing culinary recipes. His last known whereabouts place him in SocioSystem Britannia, when his digital tag disappeared from the SkyKover Network on February 24th 2120, at 9:44 am GMT.

His vocational change, from medicine to the culinary art, made him the second humanoid in History with an artistic impulse. It seems likely that he was trained by Martha Bukowsky, author of the fictional novel “Last Melody”, an older gynoid and possibly the one who helped him escape from the GenoTech facility.

Her manuscript “Time-Death” has been located through a MetaWave tunnel from the MercoSur Tower in Valparaiso. As soon as we complete the full download we will proceed to its publication within the Project SkyKover collection.
