Doctor Nancy Kaplan, creator of the Digital Intelligence with Free Will, continues her personal battle against the United Nations Security Council to secure rights for humanoid surgeons—synthetic beings developed to regenerate and prolong human life—in this new digital society, structured into Ecologically Stable SocioSystems.

The choice of her last name is unknown, as are her current whereabouts, following the attack on Dr. Nancy Kaplan on September 12, 2120 during the inauguration of the SkyKover Global Network.
