Money is electronic and there is a world-wide single currency. The majority of the population wears a backhand bioChip implant and betting on the Net is a substantial contribution to global GDP.

Tamara Svenson, Colonel of the Monetary Crime Brigade, will be involved in an unexpected plot of political terrorism at the highest echelons of the United Nations and the International Olympic Committee.

"Olympic Year" questions the limits of human beings faced with the future impossibility to beat an athletic record. Can the sporting multinationals and betting corporations kill the olympic ideals?
